machine, you hear a boring, old, DOS "Beep" when email arrives or when
other system/application events occur.

Intel 386EXTC Chip Select by
learner
Hi,
I am using Intel 386EXTC which is an embedded processor. I am using a
Flash and a SRAM with it. I will be making some assembly language
programs. My question is, this processor allows 6 chip selects. My
question is, do I need to specify in BIOS which CS I am connecting to
which devics?
Thanks

Intel 386EX processor by
learner
Does someone know if Intel 386EX processor has 25 or 26 address lines?
The datasheets say it has 26 address pins. But the pin diagram of
Intel386EXTC 144pin TQFP shows only A25:A1.

Newbie question: static? by
Leif K-Brooks
I'm planning to assemble a computer for the first time soon. I've never

frying something. I've heard that I should touch an unpainted metal part
of the case, but I'm not sure whether the computer needs to be plugged
in for this...
