Way to know if it is a TBred A or B? by
Eric Bouchard
I just got myself a 2700+ and was wondering how you could tell the
difference between a TBred A or B core? I know it is easier to overclock
with a B core and wanted to find out how to go about with it.
Thanks.
Eric B.

CPU temperature by
Robert Creasey
I have just built a system with a MSI k7n2g ilsr mainboard with an XP 2600+.
CPU temperature shows between 55C and 59C. Is this normal? The cpu was boxed
and uses the standard amd cooler and fan. Thanks in advance.

Quiet CPU fan by
Patrick
I have a Vantec AeroFlow C7040 and it is quiet BUT that is very subjective
to the room you are in and also case fans etc in your case. If you have no
case fans and the cpu cooler is the only fan in there the it may be too loud
for you. If you are looking for an ultra quiet cooler for the likes of...

What Should I Buy? New CPU or New Board? by
Whiskey Tango
Hi,
I currently have a Soyo DUP+ KT400 yada-yada, with a 2200+ stuck on
it. I'm running Corsair XMS 512 3200 RAM and twin WDC 80GB Drives in
RAID 0. My problem: Damn thing is slow. Not 80486 slow, but I feel
that this system should have more potential. Sisoft laughs at me and
my benchmarks are WAY...

Is my computer really overheating? Should I drop the CPU Speed down? by
David Mills
I changed my CPU Speed setting in my BIOS from 100/100 to 133/133.
After changing it, I ran that SiSoft Sandra utilty and it said my CPU
speed had increased from 1.0 GHZ to 1.47 GHZ...........!!!! Amazing.
My CPU is an AMD Athlon XP 1100 by the way.
Then, 2 days later, I decided to run it again...

New Computer questions by
noise
OK I know the thread's out of date but I've been away - I would
suggest looking at something with the NForce2 chipset, it really
is excellent, stable and has all the gadgets you could ask for.
There's a new Ultra 400 version which is factory-rated for 200Mhz
FSB (or 400 in marketing-speak), and I...
