Appears to be a new model based on Liteons External USB2 model 851SX, but
cannot find any information about this internal drive.....

LiteOn Question by
Nick
Hello all,
I had posted in an earlier email about not being able to burn
media at anything faster than 12X on my LiteOn burner. I have a
general question to any LiteOn users out there. Has anyone had any
issues with burning Sony media at the full speed? I think the media
that I am using is...

CDUDF Format by
Sunshine
Please explain why in W2K, a recordable CD format must be CDUDF before you
can drag and drop a file, but the CDUDF format in not necessary to drag and
drop a file in XP. I have a DVD+RW drive w/Nero 5.5.10.26 and Direct CD 5.0.
Thanks

IDE Cable Oddities & CDROM by
William J.
Been having lots of buffer underrun problems. Both my cd reader and cd
writer are on the same IDE channel. So I decided to move my cd reader
to the same channel as the hard drive so the cd writer would be on its
own IDE channel.
I bought a 24" cable last week but returned it because I could...

Blind Burning Software by
Captain Blammo
Is there any burning software out there that will continue to write to a CD
regardless of even huge errors?
The reason is rather silly: I'm trying to make pictures on CD-R discs by
burning a full 700MB of data and using tape to block the laser in the shape
of the image. I thought it might be a fun...

Firewire vs. USB 2.0 Transfer Speed by
Walter Ego
I'm looking at some external DVD burners and some are connect by firewire
(which I have) and some are USB 2.0. Which would give me the fastest burning
speed? I understand they are about the same. The USB ones are slightly
cheaper.

Closed Caption on TVs & DVD players by
Don@NoSpam
I don't know where to pose this question, but it pertains to information
I received on usage of image titles with DVD Photo Album software.
The program burns a CD for use with both CD playback and TV playback. Of
course that necessitates having a modern DVD player that can handle both
CD and DVD...
