Cannot Show Screen Image From PC to TV Using S-Video by
Jay Chan
I have a nVidia GeForce2 MX400 video card in my PC. It comes with a
S-video port. Somehow, I cannot use it to show anything onto my TV
using S-video. Strangely, I can show PC screen image to a digital
camcorder using a S-video cable (without any USB or FireWire
connection); seem like the video card...

Hey- can anyone help me? I love the portability, ease, and storage
space of USB keys, but I keep breaking them or loosing them. Does
anyone know any good alternatives?

300W PC Power Supply - AT vs. ATX form by
Fred Zimmerman
My local computer shop guy told me that I need a 300W AT form Power
supply for my AMD (Asus Mboard) mini-tower PC.
When I went to 2 or 3 websites selling PC power supplies, they all
list 300W supplies as ATX form.
What is the difference, and can I use an ATX instead of an AT form
supply.
Thanks.

Newbie question: static? by
Leif K-Brooks
I'm planning to assemble a computer for the first time soon. I've never
handled new parts before, so I'm a bit nervous about static electricity
frying something. I've heard that I should touch an unpainted metal part
of the case, but I'm not sure whether the computer needs to be plugged
in for this...

maxtor disk storage by
E.N.Baker
To Whom it may concern:
In April, 2002 I purchased a Maxtor Personal Storage disk 3000LE
primarily for backups. For years I've been reading articles in the
Mags and by knowledgeable columnists. One must back up his important
files. Now, I actually never had a problem with the computer
crashing,...

AGP Cards with Long Life Span by
Vernon Davis
We're looking for AGP Cards that are going to be around for a number
of years. The systems are being built with the notion that in five
years we can purchase the same AGP card, so the drivers don't have to
change. I have priced some of the industrial AGP cards from Advantech
and American Predator,...

Missing files and space on hard drive by
Rob Schneider
It appears a large chunk of my hard drive is occupied by files I
cannot find.
The PC has a 10.8 GB hard drive (Maxtor 91080D5) which FDISK reports
is partitioned 74% for C: and 26% for D:. The D drive looks fine - it
has about 25 MB on it with about 2.5 GB free.
The problem is on C: I can only...

400mhz fsb mobo and 800mhz fsb cpu by
BPrince6
This is a stupid question, but I want to make sure. I have a 400mhz
fsb motherboard, and I'd like to upgrade to a 3.2ghz 800fsb p4. The
highest 400fsb cpu is a p4 2.4ghz. Is that my only option for that
particular mobo ? Thanks.

Is it possible to run CPUs at a lower speed then rated by the
motherboard? For example, an 850Mhz chip in a board rated up to
750Mhz.

Hotwire Power Supply by
Shane Thoen
I'm working on a personal project and I'm using a 250w ATX computer power

goes to the motherboard to always have the powersupply "on" even when it's

Hardware performing terribly. by
Adam
SETI @ home has dug up some serious problems with my rig.
Before I upgraded my CPU I was running an Athlon XP2000(1.667Ghz) and
doing work units at 14.5 hours per unit. Which I thought was ok
because I had nothing to compare it to.
