[email protected]
When creating a disk image, typically of a disk on it's last legs, I

drives the whole USB - drive interface locks up. The only solution is
a power off reset. I would love to find a software solution around
this problem. Although,...

Peter Dassow
Hi everybody,
I really would appreciate it if anybody can give me a hint about that.
I bought a Maxtor Basics (1TB) USB drive, and it runs well so far.

What are the best brands to get dual-layer DVDRWs (+ and -)? by
Ant
On 12/29/2008 9:00 PM PT, Ant typed:
Yes, RW since I will be reusing them.
Thanks in advance. ;)
Is it me or are DVD+/-RW discs rare? I can't seem to find any.
http://www.dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html#4.3.10 says they existed since
2006.

How do I copy my C: drive to a bigger HD? by
John Brock
I want to replace my current PATA HD with a larger SATA HD. My PC
has an empty drive bay, and I know how to install a new drive.
What's not clear is how to copy everything from my old drive to

A few months ago, I tested over 2-3 dozen cheaper backup software
programs found online, most in the free to $40 range. Most had bugs
and the rest other problems. Worse, most worked exclusively with time-
triggered backups. Very few were capable of reliable real time
backups!!
Here's the list of...

How come my old Windows 98's DOS boots don't see my DVD-ROM driveanymore? by
Ant
Hi!
Since I still have Toshiba DVD-ROM drive and it works in Windows XP,
shouldn't it work in DOS boot with its old oakcdrom.sys driver? Or did
my new MSI motherboard change the rules for using IDE CD/DVD-ROM drives?
CMOS sees the drive just fine under primary master (the only IDE drive
too)...
