My local dealer says he has some XP2600+ Barton core chips, I thought the 2600s were Thoroughbreds! Is there a Barton core 2600 and if so how can I tell it from a Thoroughbred visually? The box shows this chip has 512 Kb L2 cache BTW. Stuart

Is there a way to restore the default multiplyer on a XP2400. At the moment it gets detected as a 933mhz cpu by my motherboad (ga-7va) with unforunately no bios options to change the multiplyer. I need to find how to change it back to it's default of 15x.
