desktop PC which again has an onboard Intel PRO 1000.
I CAN do a disk to disk image, but doing a normal clone through the Ghost

Microsoft 4GT: 4GB in 32-bit Winapps by
Yousuf Khan
AMD has a PDF available explaining how Microsoft will allow existing 32-bit
apps to be able to access the full 4GB of memory for user space. This is an
upgrade of Microsoft's existing 3GB-aware Windows modifications, which
itself was an upgrade from the 2GB standard Windows image. This is...

M processor vs P4 by
\@@bogus\
Can someone tell me if the M processor is as good as the P4 in terms of
performance? I am considering them on a notebook. A Dell salesman told me
that the 1.5 M is equivalent to a P4 3.0 Is that true or is it total
bull****?
Thanks.

Latest Athlon 64 product introductions by

AMD introduced 4 new Athlon 64 and FX models. However each one seems to be
designed for three different types of sockets. Athlon 64 3500+ and 3800+ are
designed for the Socket 939, while Athlon 64 3700+ is designed for Socket
754. Meanwhile are now two FX-53 models, the older one designed for...

P4 CPU upgrade question by
Sine Nomini
This is about a Dell 1.7Ghz P4 with 256 L2 Cache (400Mhz FSB). I can
upgrade to a 2.0, 2.4 or maybe even 2.6 Ghz. Same FSB but would double
the L2 cache to 512.
So how much would the bigger L2 cache and higher clock speeds give me
in performance? Is it worth between $100-$150?
Thanks.
