I have been told that DVD+-RW will last longer than DVD+-R But what about burnt CDs? Does the RW version have shorter archive life (and lets say we only write once and not reuse it many times)?

Hello I have bought a box of CD-RW media branded as PowerDisc and claiming writing speeds ranging from 4X to 12X, but all software utilities I have used say the maximum speed is 10X. The manufacturer is identified as Gigastorage, the same one present in Verbatim 74 minutes CD-RWs.

I Googled my problem and found a note to this group referencing the same exact problem I'm having now from 2002, but no responses. The label program will suddenly print nothing but the cut lines. No text, no imported jpgs. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks. Eddie
