Generic Drive Problem of CD or DVD Failures? by bruha
I started a thread regarding my Plextor having problems with CDs but not with DVDs. I called Plextor and they said that they have seen this before, where more likely it's electronic. Is this a specific problem with Plextor or is this a problem with other manufacturers as well?

Amanda's eyes actually widened. If I were just ten percent less jaded, I thi nk I might have fallen in love. "What? No," I said. "I had an Atari when I was younger, but that was a long time ago. Do you have any organs, like a heart or a brain?" "Well, then," I said. "Let's go have a meeting." "The...

TDK CDR? by SleeperMan
Anyone knows, who makes TDK d-view color (1-48x) CDR's? Info just says TDK...And they burn up to full 52x in my very picky Plex Premium drive. Even Plextor CDR?s (made by TY) are not - burning lowers speed just before finish - at appr. 50x speed drive lowers to 40x. But TDK goes perfectly, so i...

Try burn4free, in xp nothing extra is needed, not sure about win98se since I already had aspi stuff on that partition. Also burnatonce, but for some strange reason, on my setup I can't make multi session work, but others do so it's me - strange. I prefer burn4free since it has a built in...

Nero Error cannot write compilation disc-at-once with this recorder FLAC CUE by JDJ
I use Nero 6 & Burrrn. Nero will burn a CUE file going up against an Album.FLAC using the FLAC plugin without the need to decompress the Album.FLAC file first. It can also burn individual Song.FLAC files. When it comes to using a CUE file pointing to individual Song.FLAC files or even...

utmost technology by [email protected]
I need to contact Utmost Technology for customer service, and there's no manual and no number or address on the box. (It's a CD ROM R/W burner). They don't seem to have an internet site either. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me a contact number or address or website. Thanks.
