Trouble with MSN and Logitech Quickcam Messenger (bandwidth) by
Erlend Stromsvik
Hi
I just got a Logitech Quickcam Messenger. It supports video at 640x480,
320x200 and 160x100.
In Logitech ImageStudio (a program which comes with the webcam) I can choose
between the different resolutions, but..... In MSN Messenger I can't. The
result being that when using the webcam over...

Yahoo and Netgear router by
David Perrault
Hi,
I'm trying to use the webcam functionality of Yahoo Messenger on my
home PC. I have a wireless router Netgear D824M. I've open port 5100
for both incoming and outgoing traffic - forwarding it to the LAN Ip
address of my home machine.
I start the webcam but it seems to still not be able to...

Eagletron TrackerCam/TrackerPod USB error? by
Bill Fredette
Hi, all. Don't know if anyone here has experience with this product,
but Eagletron, the manufacturer, has been worthless when it comes to
support, so I figured I'd ask here.
I recently bought a TrackerPod and installed version 5.0 of the
TrackerCam software to control it. However, as soon as I...

Logitech ImageStudio - Changing save path by
Stein Arne Storslett
I'm just posting my sollution to changing the path for Logitech
ImageStudio.
It seems that there is no way you can change this within the
application.
My problem was that I changed the path of "My Documents" a while after I
installed ImageStudio. ImageStudio insisted on saving files in the...

Poor Quality of Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 by
Norm Donchin
I'm wondering just how widespread the quality problems are on the Logitech
QuickCam Pro 4000.
I'm setting up instant video messaging with a relative who is overseas. I
decided to use a couple of Pro 4000s with MSN Instant Messenger, based on
what I've heard from others relative to image quality...

Suggestions on Camera. by
Darwin Weyh
I need a camera that will be used in a shop environment that needs to be
able to take pictures of parts as they come in.
The parts are sized from 2ft x 2ft down to the size of a quarter.
So I need a camera that has a good range of focal point.
Any suggestions?

Pros and cons : auto ftp upload vs. web server ? by
Herbert Nagler
I'm thinking of putting a webcam on my hp.
Atm. I see the choice of :
1. VisionGS PE (auto uploader)
2. Webcam2000 (web server).
What are the advantages of one against the other, and are there any better
alternatives concerning software?
Thanks for any help

How to find IP address of unknown server on a LAN by

I have two Active Imaging camera servers model MV-1000. But unlike my
AXIS 240 camera server I can do absolutely nothing with them. Active
Imaging is out of business and I am desperate to get any scrap of info
on their MV-1000 unit that anyone might know about. These camera
servers have a built...

Test ~ ignore by
Colinz
Apologies for testing here.....but my postings are not making it to the
group.
Oh dear ...news server issues as well as mail server issues :(
Interestingly I recently had a response to post I made...even although I
couldn't see my own original post, clearly some people can.
Strangeness all round.
