Cinemaster card by
- Bobb -
Old Dell Dimension R400 (Pentium 2) got replaced by an Optiplex, SO I took
a few of the cards out of the R400 and put them in another PC. Dell user
has no original CD's/manuals to help me out.
here's the question:
Transplant PC has a DVD in there using PowerDVD.
One of the cards I transplanted...

how do you run a iso file? by
~Aart
Hi,
I'm new to all this, and have a couple of files with the extension of .iso
When I open them all I get is a half second of a black window, you know, the
kind you get when you run a dos prompt.
Is there a trick to opening them? I'm running XP.
Thanks,

copy cd using EAC by
snax500
I am using EAC to copy an audio CD to my hard drive. One of my CD's is
copy protected. It shows in the program that it is copy protected when
I list the tracks. How do I copy the CD to my hard drive? The CD does
play using the EAC player but not Real Player.
Thanks

Synchronize slideshow with audio? by
TommyDale
Other than buying PowerPoint 2002 (with their Producer plug-in), is
there some program out there that will let me lay down an audio track,
then use markers to changes slides at given points on the audio?
(Example: 20 minutes of audio, changing slide on a given "beat"
during the music).

Verbatim 48X12X48 Burners by
tomcas
Last Verbatim VBT481248A I got was a Aopen CDW4850. It was quite a while
ago and only $20AR. Still, I don't think it was worth it. The Lite-on
drive is so much better I'd advise you to return the Verbatim unless you
are sure it happens to be a Lite-on instead of a Aopen.

Anyone have problems with TDK cd-rs? by
Mike Keating
I recently bought two 10-packs of these (which I've used in the past
with no problem whatever). I had been using Memorex for a while, but
didn't like them much. When I tried to burn some music this weekend,
my burner (I have two burners, Roxio 5 and Acoustica, both had the
same problem) wouldn't...

Changing dates: InCD 4.0.1.7 by
Howard Kaikow
InCD 4.0.1.7 is changing the file modification date when a file is either
dragged or copied to a CD-RW.
Anybody else see this behavior?

Trouble burning large image file. by
OM
I have an ISO image file.
The file size is 709MB.
I have a Sony Recorder.
I'm using the latest version of Nero.
I've tried turning the overburn option on.
But that does not seem to work.
I've tried increasing the limit by 2 minutes at a time, but still nothing
works.

Nero 5 hangs at startup.... by
George W.
Nero 5 recently started hanging at startup during the SCSI/IDE check.
Not always, but enough to be annoying since there is no way to shut it
down. Using WinXP. I've reinstalled Nero, updated, went back to what
up until now has been a very stable program. (5.5.10.15) Turned off
the built in XP disc...

I have a Dell 4550, WinXP, NEC 9300A 48x CD-RW Drive. Using the latest
version of Nero with TDK CD-R discs rated at 48x write speed.
When no disc is in the drive Nero shows a max write speed of 48x. When
a 48x rated disc is in the drive the max speed in Nero drops to 24x.
I've looked through all...
