no song titles on burned cd's by byteryder
Maybe I'm missing something but Nero always seems to name all my songs Track1,track2, etc. in Media Player, instead of their right titles. I used Just-Audio before and never had a problem.... What setting might I have screwed up in Nero that names my songs numerically?

A Message to SMH by Mike Powers
I recognize that you have problems with Mike Richter. I will even say that your advice to help people is better than his. I posted a request for help a few years back and Mike's response was idiotic. I don't even think he read the post completely. That being said...this is only about CDR software....

Destroying a CD - microwave it? by Steve
According to an article in CNET, "The best way to destroy CD-Rs is to microwave them on high for five seconds." Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Any unpleasant side effects? http://news.com.com/Who+says+safe+computing+must+remain+a+pipe+dream/2010-1071_3-5482340.html

Trying to explain cause of CD corruption by anonymousNetUser
Okay, here's the situation: Say you have about 2200 source code files. Spread across a handful of subfolders and varying numbers of subfolders in each of those. They were burned to a CD, and when you do a visual compare in Windows Explorer between the files on the CD and the same files on a...

Plextor 708A CD-TEXT problem by Martino
I tried Nero 6 and Roxio 6. Even though the burned CDs indicate CD-TEXT when played on Plextor 708A (Nero 6 - Extras - Save Tracks), I don't see CD-TEXT on my Pioneer CD-Player (Elite PD-F27). I tried the same thing on a Samsung CD-R/RW and no problems; CD-TEXT is visible on My Pioneer CD with...

Best Digital and SLR Digital Cameras by Derrick Fawsitt
Somewhat off topic so please excuse me but up to now I have been persuaded that the best Digital camera was an SLR Digital. CD-RW UDF, "Fixed Packets" - the history and the future! by Gerry_uk
Hi, When CD-RW drives first arrived on the scene it was suddenly possible to drag and drop files from Windows Explorer onto the CD-RW drive and to carry out operations similar to a Data Stick or floppy. You didn't have to create a "CD Project" or "burn" the CD. To me, this was much more...
