Hi,
I got a kenwood CD player in my car last year, cool ****, can play wma, mp3,
etc. But lately it just keeps skipping during songs, really annoying. It
seems like it went bad suddently. Of course the warranty is expired and I

I got cool deals on Office depot ones (4x) but after trying the 8x from that
same brand (disaster) i'm worried about them. I want to archive stuff and I

Are Fuji discs still generally Ty Yugeneds (I know I spelled it wrong,
but you know, the really good ones)? My car CD player stopped liking
just the CHEAP ones from my burner, but if I burn on The TY's they
will work fine.
Are the Fujis still good quality? Cause Best buy has em on sale...

Question about DVDr Drives (IO Magic/Lite - on)? by

Figured it was close enough to a CDR drive to ask here.
Staples has an IO Magic 8x -/+r starting tomorrow for $89
Wal Mart has a Lite-On for $99 (cant remember the speed).
Any comments about either? What software do they come with?
Also, Office Max has a 4x -r for $59. Is just a -r ok or do...

set to slave on an IDE chain and the other IDE chain has my 2 Hard
drives (Master/Slave).
If I get a DVD+/- R drive where will I put it. Can it be the Slave

I currently have an AMD with an 80 gig on the primary master and a
LiteOn CDR drive on the Secondary Master. I was going to just put

Ok. I got a Khyper (something like that) DVD+R drive and put it in
and burned a data disc of files.
FINE.
Then I tried to burn a movie DVD and my DVD players just say NO DISC
when I put it in. Ive burned DVD+R's many times on a friends

Recovery Software for DirectCD CDRs? by

I have written about this problem before. I have a large stack of
CDRs written with DirectCD. WindowsXP cannot read them at all, either
by itself or with the Roxio UDF reader installed.
I have a Windows 98 computer with DirectCD installed and have had
limited success reading some of these...

I had to leave rather quickly late this afternoon, so I grabbed the
Micro Advantage burner, which I had repacked this morning, and took it
with me. I never had a chance to play around with it to see who the
manufacturer was.
