TDK VeloCD 48x ... Not Burning at 48x! 5 minutes by
The Big D
My TDK VeloCD 48x/24/48 is burning slower than advertised. I've had great
success with it previously, just recently its been burning full 700 MB discs
@48x which for some reason finishes in 5 minutes instead of 2:30. I'm using
Fuji *TY* Media 48x. Is there a reason for this slowdown?

When I try to rip a song from a CD, I end up with a file on the PC
that skips, blips, and stutters...

CD-Rs work in CD-ROM but fail in laptop DVD drives by
Jim Prall
I'm having trouble using data CD-Rs in two different laptops that have
internal DVD-ROM drives. It's a real problem because I need to use
CD-Rs of installers for Windows 2000 or XP (legal copies - we are
permitted, and in fact required to make our own installer CD copies
from masters supplied under...

can't burn a single disc without a "Write Error" from Nero after a few
percent's writing. I didn't change a single thing about my system that

virus protection, stopped most apps, made sure of...

I want to burn a CD with all MP3 files, not converted, but native. I want
to see the name of the song on my car stereo (CD-Text). I know my burner
supports this as I can do it with an audio CD. I know my car stereo
supports it as well. But when I burn MP3's to a disk, it is seen as a data
disk,...

Let say that I have two IDE cables.
