Erasing time for 650 megs vs. 700 cd+rw disks by
Bun Mui
I erase using Nero software for 650 megs vs. 700 megs cd+rw disks.
When I erase both types they both take about 26 minutes to erase.
Shouldn't a 700 megs cd+rw disk take longer to erase than 650
since it has more capacity? When I check the time to erase
seems to be both the same amount of...

Is there an FAQ for this group? by
Penelope Baker
Greetings all:
Soon I will be in the market, and I'm trying to decide if I want a DVD
writer/CDRW/CDR, what the different DVD format things are, etc. It's all
quite overwhelming if you try to seek it out from source to source. Hoping
someone has already made a compiled info file somewhere...

When trying to make a backup of any Safedisc 2 program/game, my

into the same problem? I'm buying a Lite-On combo drive and this will
solve the problem, but I'd like to know if this Plextor drive can make
a backup of a...

I just wanted to check it wasn't a problem with drivers. When I look at the
DVD drive's properties in MyComputer it's got 5 different driver files,...

Is there any way to make a CDRW into a 'For Consumer' CDRW ?. The thing is,
I have a Pioneer PDR-509 stand-alone CD recorder and it will only accept the
'For Consumer' CDR and CDRW which are getting harder and harder to find
these days.
I can put a 'For Consumer' CDR/RW in the drive, then lift the...

network on 5-6 computers. Each month we burn all this data to DVD, 2 copies
of each. One copy is for archiving, the other for off-site.
Until recently, the data was...
