Next gen ATI/Nvidia by
Andrew Ratcliffe
Hi all,
Anyone know when the next wave of 3D cards are gonna hit the market? I'm
contemplating upgrading my Ti4200 for a Radeon 9800pro or a FX5900 but
wonder if I should wait until Doom 3/HL2 hit the shelves and see what
happens then?
My system is a shuttle XPC SB51G, so I wonder if the Geforce...

Dabs "B-grade" items - any good? by
Anton Gÿsen
I'm thinking of buying an item from dabs.com which is described as a
"warranty repair".
What are the chances of it being DoA or developing a fault in a few months?
Thanks in advance,
Anton

Sony SDM HS94 PB by
jaime
Anyone got one of these, I can't seem to find much at all about them?
Sony Style has it for around £450 which seems like a great deal.
Its brilliantly styled like the others in the range and the specs boost a
combined response time of 12 msecs, which is much better than the dell (25
msec) and...

How to avoid meeting delivery promises by
[email protected]
As a supplier of computer stuff, if you do not want to live up to your
promises of next day delivery, here's how to do it.
Tell the buyer that their credit card order is "Awaiting
authorisation". And leave it like that for several days.
Of course, the buyer may not believe you, because they often...

Sony laptops by
James Shawe
Hi. I am currently browsing for laptops and have to admit the Vaio's have
caught my eye on eBuyer. Now, from Sony directly they are a fe hundred quid
more in some cases, but with the optionfor an extended warranty. I seem to
remember that with other Sony products I have bought there is a card in...

Turn Around Time by
Edward W. Thompson
Having recently returned from 25 years in Canada I am amazed at the
inefficiency of online traders, at least the two I have dealt with to
date.
I ordered a Microsoft Basic Wireless Keyboard from Amazon that was
indicated on their site as in stock. It will take two weeks before I
receive it,...
