run a notebook as server? by
Daniel
Hello,
Should it be safe to run a notebook as a home internet server, switched on permanently?

Is a KVM switch a good choice ? by
No Spam Please
Every two or three weeks I repair a PC.
When I repair a pc I unhook my PC
monitor and use it for the other machine.
I often need a file from the internet
to fix the PC and often move the monitor
cord back and forth. Would a KVM switch
make sense or would I spend more time in
set up ?
Thanks

I have not yet experimented with 802.1Q, so far I've only been using
port-based VLANs.
I have a situation where I'd like one PC to participate in two VLANs,
but I'd rather not run more then one ethernet cable (mainly...

Hi,
I used to have my DVD drive on drive D: and CD-RW on E:. I have
swapped them over in the BIOS, and the jumpers on the back of the

Anyone know how to change them around?
Thanks
