Arias after sales service? by
jim.
Is it just me, or is Aria about the worst of the online boxshifters for
after sales service?
I've had good service from them when things work ok BUT....
It appears, as our colonial friends would say -
Their after-sales sucks BIGTIME.
Here's the moan ;-)
Or about half of the total hassle I've...

How much to charge for doing repairs upgrades etc? by

I have many years experience building PCs, doing
upgrades/repairs, installations etc. for myself and various
friends & family. I now wish to set up doing this as a business
to earn a bit of extra cash. Initially this would be mainly for
private individuals on evenings and weekends, but if it...

IDE storage prices tumbling? by
Davis Rorgh
I have not been keeping a close watch on the price of IDE hard disks here in
the UK but I took a look at prices recently and they seem to have fallen a
lot.
I know it's all "faster and cheaper" with a lot of computer equipment but it
seems that HDDs have really taken a big drop.
I am looking at...

Integrated motherborad scam Class Action Lawsuit. by

Hi a while ago I bought a motherboard with integrated "1800" chip on
it (and was told over the phone that it is Duron 1800-though this is
not very relevant to the class action suit as others might have just
relied on description). I have recently discovered that the actrual
chip is Duron 1200.

USB2 Hard Drive Caddy by
AMO
I am thinking of buying the following hard drive:
http://uk.aldi.com/
Go to Internal Hard Drive Drive to get a Western Digital 250Mb hard drive
for £79.99. This seems to be a good deal.
I am looking for a case to support this drive. I don't actually know the
exact term for this. Is it a caddy?...

PCWorld by
Me
I am not fan of P.C world but £19.99 for virus removal is cheap! They are
proberly doing it on the basis that a lot of punters will have some upgrades
done at the same time.
Well it works for me anyway!

Is £4.69 too much for P&P on a processor? by

One mail order company charges £4.69 for P&P up to 5kg.
That's ok for hard drives, motherboards etc. But a cpu weighs far,
far less.
To guess, the whole package for my AMD Athlon processor might be 150

I am sitting here smelling the coffee mulling over a problem, that my friend
has just about got over, wondering if there may not still be someone with a
useful last ditch suggestion.
My friend asked her husband to buy her an item from Ebuyer for christmas

were some pretty scary letters to customers - such as

Their solution - Could be CPU, Memory or Motherboard faulty....
