Question by
Petrus Tax

my clients (their needs are limited)....

one laptop key does not work by
123Jim
Hi all,
This laptop key all of a sudden does not work. All I get is a loud beep.
I should say this key has no plastic button and also no nipple, so I am
pressing the contact directly, but it was working fine in this condition.
What had I changed? I was making some changes to the hard disk...

2 wireless mice on 2 computers - conflict? by
Big_Al[_2_]
I currently have two computers within 3 feet of each other, maybe 2
feet. One uses a bluetooth mouse the other is a Logitech M305 with
one of those nano USB receivers.
I would like to replace the bluetooth with a duplicate M305 or maybe a
V450. Either way, it would be two wireless nano...

Recommendations re colour laser printer? by
Brian Cryer[_2_]
My colour laser at home has finally given up the ghost. It was a
konika-minolta magicolor printer and was always a bit troublesome. So I'm
now looking at getting a replacement. My question is simply are there any
brands (or specific models) which (in your experience) stand out as being
more...

My Dell laptop has a PCMCIA slot in which I inserted a US Robotics

connect with my wireless router. When I plug it in to the slot, I
get two beeps, but I see no indication that it is recognized - even in
Device Manager. Should...

Delayed Write Failed - could I have lost data? by
[email protected]
Rod, looks like you're right about the data being fine and it was just
a weird hibernation glitch. Since I had gotten a "delayed write
failed" error, I just assumed that the drive's policy was set to
"Optimize for performance". Then right after I started this thread, I
went out of town for over a...
