Please someone help me! Do anyone know how to print real grey, in a laser printer hp 4550, in a page together with other colours. When I try from different programs like Adobe Ilustrator or Corel Draw, it appears not a greyscale but more like a greenscale. When I print a page of only greyscale...

HP LaserJet 1000 by callsignviper
Looking for opinions please. I can get a LaserJet 1000 at Office Depot for about $84 (including tax). This looks like a good deal since the standard toner/drum cartridge runs about $65. I mainly want it for relatively light duty use and to reserve my photo printer for photos only. The printer...

Who has good remanufactured toner carts (Lexmark Optra S 1650) by [email protected]
I have found at least 3 or four good inkjet refillers/suppliers on this group, and have bought a Canon i9100 with a continuous reinking system for 11X17 color output. My main printer is a Lex Optra S 1650 laser. It seems that very few here (at least posters) have discussed toner cart...

Canon i550 ink tank replacements from Staples by John D.
To all who have the Canon i550, i850 and might be considering using the generic ink replacement tanks from Staples; There is a design flaw in the "tab" that locks the ink tank in place. This tab sticks out so the tank tray cannot move back and forth and will jam up the printer. FYI I was looking...

Communication problems with Lexmark printers by Printer Guy
Recently, the company that I work for purchased Lexmark inkjet printers through eBay. The models were the Z45 and Z54, which only uses a USB port to receive data. After acquiring one of them for myself, which was a Z45, I installed the printer's software via the Add Printer wizard on my Windows...

Req Adv: Want to print text by Linda Grant
I am looking for a printer to print mostly text. Looking for something cheap to buy and operate. Want good quality output and good speed. I would like something rather on the small and quiet side too. I live in the USA. Would anyone have any recommendations?

Canon i550 question by Tony1thatmatters
Judging from our users base feedback ( www.inkylink.co.uk ) this Canon is becoming quite popular. The JetTec high capacity black for instance holds appreciably more ink than the Canon OEM BCI-3e cartridges. For refilling I've found some 10 ml can be filled to the JetTec compared to the 6 ml in the...

Have Canon i550, considering s9000 by John D.
I have the i550 and although it prints very good photos, the colors aren't as vivid as I'd hoped. I have had it since January 2003 and have been pretty happy. Now that I have a very good digital camera (Nikon Coolpix 5700, 5 MP), I'm a little disappointed in the photos. Considering a few...

Anyone have the "new" HP-5650? by John B
I'm interested in the HP-5650 and since it is relatively new was wondering if anyone has any experience with it yet? Not too many user reviews to be found yet. Also will it print borderless 4X6 on non HP paper (4x6) without the tear off tab? Thanks John

Longevity of Prints with compatible cartridges/refills by John Reeves
I have recently purchased an i950 and due to the cost of cartridges I am considering using compatibles or refill ink. I will mainly be printing on glossy photo paper. Does anyone have details of how long the prints will last compared with OEM Canon cartridges. Many thanks in advance
