How do I get InCD 4.2 to leave my DVD-RAM drive alone? by SloPoke
I have a Panasonic DVD-RAM drive which I have had long before DVD+-RW drives ever hit the market. Now I also have DVD+-RW drive that I would like to format UDF with InCD. However, installing InCD 4.2 overrides the Panasonic UDF drivers, making my many DVD-RAM discs unreadable. Is there any way to...

S/VCD with Nero 6 by Nobody
HI, I am using the demo Nero 6 to burn S/VCDs. When I play them, they automatically go from one file to the next. Is there any way to make the files stop until I use the remote. I would hope this would be done with the menu? PS. The demo version does have have a help file. Is this because it is...

Any info on GPX home CD recorder? by Mystic Mitch
Hey folks, I was surfing Ebay a few nights back and was checking out some home-stereo CD recorders. I came across some GPX models and am curious if anyone here has one or has used one before. The price of these on Ebay are pretty cheap (with a starting bid of $20), which leads me to believe that...

Look at the internet patch from MS Corp. by Avi Nahir
The increase in spam is amazing. I got today 70 messages, about 5 of them ok. No problem, I have great Outlook filters, but it's getting so I can't leave my mailbox alone without it's getting full. Me too, I'm getting trigger happy. I wish it would stop. What REALLY hurts - I'm getting lots of...

Microwaving prior to tossing by zappa@fiberglass_n_beer.com
Found a nice way to zero your old CDr media prior to tossing in the trash. I put six outdated CDRs into a plastic freezer ziplock bag and microwaved the puppies for about five or six seconds. Fried the media pretty well and kept any nasty gases from farting up my microwave oven. Probably doesn't...

Easy Cd Creator 5 Basic - CDDB by AAH
There is a command Menu Disc CDD disc information which is greyed out. What is it? There are few entries in the registry but do not give any clue of files. Could there be deleted or needed for some other programs like Nero or something else? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

My home-built Soyo tower started out with a normal internal CD drive. Worked fine for years. I added a parallel-port BackPack CD Burner. Both drives continued to work fine. I added a TDK Firewire DVD Burner. It works fine as does the BackPack. However...now the internal 56X works but will not...
