Adding media type to LJ 4350dtn by Rod[_4_]
I have searched, scratched my head, searched again. But I simply cannot find out how to add a media type to an HP LaserJet 4350dtn (obviously will be the same as several other models - but I wanted to be specific just in case). The users load two different sorts of preprinted form into trays 2...

OEM consumables (was Real-world ink longevity test) by TJ
Arthur Entlich wrote: It all supports my "own case" in that many types of CD media are not labeled as to manufacturer at all, and much of it is labeled with a false manufacturer, as even the major manufacturers were buying surplus product wherever it could be located and branding it, so...

Printing resolution? by Upscale
Hi, I'm about to buy a new printer and I was wondering what difference if any that I'd find between an inkjet printer that will do up to 4800x1200 dpi as compared to one that prints up to 2400x2400 dpi? Thanks

HP PSC-1315 All-In-One with damaged USB socket? by Dejola
I have an HP PSC-1315 All-In-One with a damaged USB socket. My question is: Is it possible for someone with decent skill with a soldering device (me) to replace this socket if I can find one? Or does a damaged USB socket doom this device for service strictly as a copier? Thanks.

It seems when I use the print command, nothing ios...

Lexmark problem - print cover open by KenC
Hi. My Lexmark X3470 printer suddenly won't allow me to do anything as it continually comes up with message cover open, even though it is fully closed. Does anyone know where sensor is located on unit so I can see if I can switch sensor off manually. Thanks, Ken

When we perform overlapped I/O on the LPT1 device on a computer with a Generic/Text only printer driver installed on LPT1, characters sent to a non-plug-and-play printer attached to that port appear to be getting dropped intermittently. The problem appears to go away if we go into Device Manager...
