load generation tools by
Harish
Hello,
Soo we are planning to evaluate Netapp 3050 storage arrays. In the past
I used unix dd commands to create some I/O load.
I am just wondering are there any good tools available to create a load
on this array to measure performance(I/O,CPU... etc)?
Thanking you all in advance

CRC using each packet's CRC which could be give by hardware or protocal
chip. The...

DS-101 hacking by
pmilligan
This device definitely looks as if it will hack. The firmware contains
a ramdisk image which is used to prep the hard drive. This has telnet
disabled and the root password is complex. However one could either
add an account in the ramdisk before intialisation, or mount the
drive on a Linux PC after...

Cheapest Backup Solution? by
Will
I am looking for the cheapest backup software solution for Windows networks
that meets these criteria:
- Uses tape libraries that run AIT2, AIT3, LTO2, and LTO3 drives,
specifically ADIC Scalar 100 and Overland Neo 4100 (yes, I know the latter
doesn't support AIT)
- Works flawlessly over a SAN
-...
