Power Supply? by
Andy

My computer keeps shutting down as if the plug was yanked from the wall. The
power cannot be turned back on for a few minutes, after which it can be
powered up again. This has happened three times so far, with about a week or
two of normal operation in between. The...

Turion 64 vs. Pentium M on Compaq v2000z and v2000 by
[email protected]
I'm planning on buying a Laptop and I'm facing a very difficult
choice: Should I go with AMD's Turion 64 or Pentium M ?
I really like the idea of having a 64bit system so I will be able to
upgrade in the future (my laptop has to last at least 3 to 4 years), on
the other hand I hear that the...

dead hard drive by

I bought an 8 gb HD from ebay, and it went dead. The guy replaced it
so that's fine. But, is the dead hd worth anything? Should I just
trash it?

Using Ctrl-Alt-Delete at start up by
02blksilverado
I have seen many XP users have to hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete instead of the
welcome screen and then they have to type their name and password.
How do I make my computer do it that way. I have XP Professional.
