fimbles
Hi, I recently upgraded my Windows XP with the Service Pack 2, and
somehow my computer's usb ports now cannot be detected. Whatever
peripherals I stick into the port, will not be detected by the
computer at all. So now I can't transfer files from my cellphone nor
my digicam.
Am not very good with...

Inspiron 1150 lcd compatibilty problems? by
fidgitty1
First I guess I need to ask, are Inspiron 1150 and 1100 lcds
compatible? I am hoping so since, after breaking the lcd on my 1150,
I shopped around and discovered a 1100 lcd on Ebay for a fraction of
the cost of a new 1150 lcd. Since there were a lot of listings that
stated that the 1150 and 1100...

Help - my rebate check expired by
Bill Schaible
I bought a 450 watt power supply at CompUSA and then sent in all the
paperwork to get a $20 rebate. When I got the rebate check I put it in my
wallet and promptly forgot about it.
It says: VOID after 12/30/2005. Has anybody had this problem and figured
out how to get another check. I didn't try...

laser printer toner cartridge, re-manufactured, any good? by
`A tower nj
Hi,
I have a HP LaserJet 4L printer that I've never changed the toner cartridge

Most places sell them for $98, and remanufactured ones for $75, but on
pricewatch.com the cheapest ones were $30.
Can anybody tell me if it's ok...

Installing a Seagate 300 GB hard drive by
know_too_much
Yesterday, I replace my Maxtor ATA 120GB Slave drive with a new Seagate
300GB ATA drive. Primary Slave also. For some reason my XP Home SP2 wanted
me to insert the Seagate disk. I did and it formatted to NTFS just fine. I
then loaded my music collection on it no problem.
Today, I turned on the same...
