LaserJet 2200DN cleaning procedure problem by Percival P. Cassidy
The LaserJet 2200 User Manual describes a procedure for cleaning the printer by feeding through a transparency (preferably) or a sheet of copier paper in a special cleaning mode that is supposed to be initiated by pressing "Go" and "Cancel" until the lights flash, then pressing "Go." I have...

Oficio paper size - which country? by Gernot Hassenpflug[_4_]
Hello all, A lot Canon printers, including high-end lasers (iR series for example), have instances of localized ppaer sizes. I don't know if that depends on the particular driver installed for the printer, it seems like it is model-dependent (that would be series-dependent, I guess, given the...

HP P1505 paper pickup problem. by pedro[_3_]
All of a sudden, our trusty P1505N has started picking up 2 or 3 sheets each time. I'm familiar (from years back) with the paper separator pad issue on HP 5L lasers, but haven't started a physical inspection on the 1505. Any pointers?

EpsonSX205 not pulling paper through by BobH
I realise this might be a long shot, but I've been given an Epson SX205 all in one printer. I am using it in Ubuntu and the printer is immediately recognised , so I put in a few sheets of plain paper into the paper feed tray, and select start on the printer. It then makes a noise and goes into the...

Is there a command line that would print one picture from my files using an Epson printer? a Brother printer? I should have thought of this earlier, but I need something to keep the ink jet printers from drying out while I'm gone. Isn't 11 weeks enough time to do that? I thought I'd make a...

Alchohol flushes out clotted jet heads. by micky
I wish I could give his name, but thank you to whoever suggested a paper towel with cleaing "fluid" under the inkjet print heads. It worked. This time it was an Epson but I think it would work for anything. I had tried head cleaning and the other thing several times with no improvement.
