ID 1394 Pins by
Mike Rojas
Hi everyone,
I'm sure this is a basic question but this is the next place that I thought
I could ask.
What are the pin markings on the internal 1394 header on the Audigy 2. I
would like to use a third party connector on the front of my box.
Thanks Mike Rojas

Mic input on Soundblaster by
Mark
Hey gang, quick question.
I'm using a somewhat professional microphone into the mic jack of a
motherboard's onboard audio. The mic level is cranked on recording
but it's still to low for decent sound. Lots of background noise and
hiss.
Will installing a Soundblaster model give me a high mic...

What's the latest Audigy 2 driver? (beta?) by
John
I've bought a new Audigy 2 and I'm a little confused about the driver
situation.
This website --

However, it says the beta driver expires August 1, 2003, to be
replaced by a...

Soundblaster Live startup noise by
David Cary
Greetings,
I have a Soundblaster Live! in my HP Pavilion. For the past month or
so, I have had an incredibly loud sound during startup. It's a single
loud blast, that's so loud I have to turn off the subwoofer at startup
for fear of damaging the speakers.
The sound occurs after the "Windows XP...

Dead or (A-)Live! Value (CT4830)? by
Yomat
I am fairly certain accidentally shorted two or more pins on the
CT4830 cards AUD_EXT connector. The computer immediately froze when it
happened. And ever since the card freezes the machine as soon as it
tries to access card drivers. The card is detected by BIOS and Windows
but if drivers are...

SB Live Value + WinXP SP1 by

Just added a SB Live Value, and XP loaded its own SB drivers. So what the
hell is with Devldr32.exe hanging up on shutdown? These are the drivers FROM
Microsoft and they are bugged from the get-go.
