Epson Artison 730 opinions? by
[email protected]
I'm looking at an Artisan 730 (I don't need a fax). I read a review that says
it's great for photo printing, but the text leaves a lot to be desired. While I
don't do a lot of document printing, I'd like to have a decent looking document
when I need one. I'm currently using a several year old Photo...

How much does it cost to print & bind a PDF into a book?
In a related post to the electronic newsgroups, I found a bunch of
'ebooks' which are basically PDFs which can be printed, for free.
What's the trick to printing & binding them at home?
What is the cost normally associated by page for...

Epson Artisan 50 problem by
[email protected]
Hi all! My Epson Artisan 50 printer just started acting weird, and
after trying everything I know, I thought I'd see if anyone here might
know what might be wrong. Myself, I think the printer has just gone
bad and there's no fix, but it never hurts to ask others to see what
they might know.
What...

Canon MP500 keeps emptying tanks by
myfathersson
Canon says this is normal, that it should slowly empty its tanks after
possibly extended periods of non-use. They say it cleans its heads
every so often and this uses a minuscule amount of ink. which will
build up over time and eventually leave the carts empty. I doubted
this.
However mine...

Normal bookbinding uses a series of stacked multi-folds
Now that is interesting!
I know that Windows Fineprint can convert any PDF ebook to "booklet"
imposition, where, for example, you print four pages to each double-sided
US "letter" paper...

Hi folks,
Hoping someone out there will have some tips or tricks for me. Or can
direct me in the right direction.
I'd like to be able to read in a CSV file that my system creates into a PCL
file and somehow simulate the cells that you would see in an Excel

Getting a printer's IP address with WMIC? by

Hello folks,
I'm currently using a WMIC command to get a list of all the printers on our
system and their name, status, etc. This is loaded to a webpage and users
can see at a glance what printers in our buildings might be having an issue.
These printers are network printers, in that they have...

Hi all
I do fairly low volume printing of Autocad drawings and would,
occassionally, like to print up to A1 paper size.
The printing is of technical drawings (house construction details) involving
thin and thick lines. Can anyone please give me a real world opinion on
quality?
How does it...

Canon tell me it is higher quality anyway)
Suddenly the MP500 started giving an...

typical shelf or unused life for toner cartridges? by

I purchased an HP 2420d laserjet back in 2005. I used it a lot from
2005-2007 and then only occasionally since about 2008. About 2010, I
started noticing very light print. I at first attributed this to the
transfer roller, which is one possibility the manual mentioned to replace,

HEW series by
Jim[_39_]
Been searching Google, HP and others online. Can't find anything
to the HEW series of cartridges. Would this just be a marketing
trick or does it actually signify something.
Case in point I'm shopping for HP CC364A cartridges but am also
finding HEWCC364A.
Is there a difference?
