Is the 475Mhz figure a maximum quoted or should it be a normal speed. Could I be getting a reduced speed because Im at AGP 4x or could it be because I have...

General airflow questions by spinlock
Most case manufacturers recommend that the fan by the CPU and the front, lower fan blow inward. Which way do the PS supply fans blow? It seems to me that you would want all the fans to blow outward, blowing hot air out and letting cool air in through various openings.

General Guide to Overclocking the Intel CPU by Phil Weldon
Just to make this information easier to find in a search of the newsgroup - if anyone is really doing that before asking a question B^) _____ A whole lot of people who have no idea of how to overclock have been successful in overclocking. If the motherboard is 'overclocking friendly', an Intel...

General Overclocking Questions by BRH
Back in the day that I had a Celeron300A system, I overclocked to run at 566mhz simply by changing the FSB setting. (I believe it was from 66 to 100 if I recall correctly.....) Besides increasing the CPU voltage slightly, the only other adjustment was some kind of setting for AGP ratio to keep...

Generic PSU Test by Ed Light
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/534/1 Dissection and testing of a generic 500W PSU. It turned out to be a 250W PSU with missing protection circuits and very high electrical noise. Good reason not to use those for overclocking, or even for anything. --- Ed Light

Getting FSB and Memory match by Scott99
Not really an overclocking issue, but this group seemed most likely to have the right answer. I just got a Shuttle MN31N Mainboard that supports 333 FSB and an Athlon Barton 2500+ that runs on the 333 FSB. Shuttle website confirms that the board supports the 2500 Barton. When booting the screen...

GF 5900XT > overclocking by Web Wiper
Hey, I bought myself a Aopen Aeolus Geforce FX 5900XT 128 DDR ... nice board with a basic setup @ 300/700 (2D) and 390/700 (3D). It has a big cooling fan on the GPU, reaching over the memory blocks (but not quite all the way), so I'm afraid the mem isn't refreshed all that much. pic:...

GF 7950 GT by Grimscythe
With the new PC that I'm gonna have on Monday, I will have a 7950 GT in it. I was reading about the specs for it and I can't find much difference between it and the 7900 GTX. Technically speaking...if I just raise the clock speed of the 7950 GT can I get it to essentially be a 7900 GTX or am I...

Gigabyte Board running Windoze 7-64 bit spontaneously enableshyperthreading without rebooting?, WTF by [email protected]
I have an icore 7 with 6 cores running on a GA-X58A-UD3R(rev. 2.0)Mobo. I have had a recurring problem that after disabling hyperthreading in the CMOS, in the task manager, I find that the mode is switching from no HT to HT without a system reboot. How can this be possible. Anyone else...
