Placement of the PSU is this important for cooling ?
I have the PSU in my case right above the CPU, even though their is
space above it for it, just have to cut a hole and add a bracket to
install it their, the cables are long enough to plug everything in and
all.
I just read somewhere AMD site...

I have OC'd to 3.1 but running prime95 shows errors, which at lower speeds I
have managed to remove by uing the VCore. Yet I am at 1.59v now and...

Just had my Xp 2400 at 68c me naughty :) by

Ahh disconected my Vantec Fan controler, needed to find a serial for a
return, had a look at my temp and @(@**(@ 68c, pluged all the wires
back in and 12volted each fan, and back to normal 52c at the momment,
7volts it runs like 55 to 60 on a coolish day, in summer in Australia.

Corsair Twin XMS4000 DDR Ram problem by

Hi All,
CPU-Z ver 1.19a only recognizes these sticks as 'Corsair DDR-SDRAM
PC3700'
I am also running an ASUS P4C800 Deluxe MB (1014.003 BIOS rev) and it
thinks they are DDR400 !!
Anybody know whats going on ?

intel stock cooler question by

the p4 stock cooler has a metal pad and graphite on it. When removing the
cooler obviusly the graphite came off. If i reapply some paste should i
remove the metal pad or leave it on and just apply a really thin layer of
paste.?

On front side of my Hercules Radeon 9800 (non-PRO) is situated little
(cca. 3x4 mm) switchbox near fan connector with two small switches
(lever-like) with description ON and KE up and 1 and 2 down. Does
anybody know what is that? I'm kinda curious, but not enough to try

cool case temp, high CPU tips? by

Just idling my case temp hangs around 32 deg. C but my CPU idles at around
52 deg. C.
It can get up to 38/62 after playing a pretty heavy game.
Now, my CPU's not overclocked, so that CPU temp seems pretty high...and the
case temp seems pretty good.
