I am just wondering are the leadtek GeForce 4Ti4200 that i have and the FX 5200 almost equal or very similar or are they good and bad in respect to office apps and...

5900XT to 5950 Ultra by robin gordon
Having read this months PCF and it has an article on how to upgrade the fx5900 to a 5950 via a BIOS upgrade. This works on standard 5900's but would it work on 5900XT's although the prices are very similar so would I be better buying the older standard card or the newer slower card and...

OC CUSL2-C by atwifa
you could try a straight boot at 133MHz fsb to yield 1.2Ghz clock speed. if it won't boot, you could try upping the voltage a little at a time (increments of 0.05V) until it POSTs. don't go above ~1.9V, as the extra signal strength gets muddied by extra heat produced at this voltage...

Decisions, ABIT or ASUS?? by Ed Forsythe
Hi Troops, I was just about set on the ABIT IC7-Max3 when I discovered (rather late) that there were no serial or parallel ports and no support for Motherboard Monitor 5. I suppose I could use USB to parallel/serial adapters for my HP4 Laser printer and my US Robotics external modem but I'd rather...

AN7 - T-Bred 2400+ - 200MHz-FSB at last!!! - Now about this rebooting problem :P by Wayne Youngman
Hi, I made a post a day or two ago about my efforts to get my T-Bred 2400+ running on a 200Mhz-FSB. I was originally trying to raise the FSB *without* overclocking the CPU (10x200=2GHz), but basically the AN7 wouldn't boot. Today I had a bit more time to play and tried 11x200 (2.2GHz) and...

Graphic Cards Power Rating - I still don't get it? by Wayne Youngman
Hi, I'm trying to *fully* understand how this voltage thing works for AGP graphics card. AGP 1x-2x = 3.3v AGP 4x = 1.5v AGP8x = 0.8v I have yet to see any AGP 8x card that gives *evidence* that its using 0.8v.

AGP Voltage problem by John
I have a ATI AIW 9800 PRO on a ASUS K8V Deluxe, and here is the problem. The motherboard says that it will support videocards 1.5V only with P/N XXXXX-XXXX-30 or later mine is XXXXX-XXXXX-12. On the video card box, it says that 4x agp runns at 1.5 V, 8X agp is 0.8V. Does that mean I can't run my...
