Colin Cogle

expired and I'm looking for a free (or at least cheap) performance boost. I
can't find anything on my exact processor speed (though I've seen info for
1.0 and 1.2 GHz Celeron).
I don't know my FSB speed, but I think it's...

Justin
Does the HP Vectra VLi8 motherboard allow overclocking?? I've heard
somewhere that the HP Vectra motherboard is a BX440 derivative. Does
that motherboard allow overclocking??
I have a Pentium III 450MHz and I want to overclock it to 500MHz or
550MHz. I've read the specs for the Vectra on hp's site...

Vantec VA4-C7040 fan is oscillating and creates vibrations, noise by
Meginjarder
I bought this very efficient cooler after a review I read on tom's.
However the fan mounted on top of the CPU makes a noticeable
vibration. When it speeds up to it's some 4000 rpms it starts to shake
back and forth, oscillate I think, and it both makes an low but
audible drone, it creates...

Also, have these ones now replaced the flower as the 'better' coolers in

HSF Recommendation Please by
yawny
Hey all,
Well I f**ked up and broke one of the tabs on the processor socket
that the HSF clip hooks onto. Running a MSI 815E Pro board with a 1GHz

clip?? Does one exist??
I don't need anything fancy. Just something that would...

tried this combination.
I removed the the OEM? fan from the card. It was attached by 2 holes

What's causing the crash? by
Mr. Teatime
Hello,
I've installed water cooling on my CPU. I have raised the FSB to 155 (from
133) and this is about the highest I can go without the computer freezing on
startup. However, since I have water cooling installed, the CPU temperature
will hardly ever go above 40 degrees C, which is well within...
