When a person is busy and hides inside a room, he or she usually hangs special round shaped hangers UK with insignias like “Art Class Inside - Please Don’t Enter.” or “Quiet Please!” or the most intriguing line: “Keep Out – Danger Zone.” These type card warnings have long been used by households,...

CR 2032 batterry vs. 2025 by micky
Any reason why I can't use a CR 2032 batterry in an IBM Thinkpad about 12 years old, instead of the 2025 it came with? They're both 3 volts, both lithium, neither rechargeable, both the same size. I'm sure there's some difference but I would think either would work fine ?? Thanks.

CHKDSK Problem by [email protected]
I have a 1TB external hard drive (USB) and it has been working sans problems. Now suddenly this morning, when I booted up cold, Chkdsk wants to do its thing on it. That's okay, but Chkdsk hung at stage 4 (checking file data) at 0%. I re-booted, and XP came up properly. Windows Explorer shows the...

(Breaking a bunch of threads) How to put leads on a tabless CR2032temporarily (McGyver rulez kludge) by Nobody > (Revisited)
Case in point, some old (even then) NEC P90 cpu laptops. This goes back about 15 years, but it worked them. Keeping it short, but my job involved programming and tuning Motorollover 2-way gear. Back then, most MRSS (Motorollover Radio Service Software) was DOS-based, and needed real serial...
