Epson 760 - banding problem by MB
I have an Epson 760 which now has a severe banding problem. Is this normally fixable? Can it be fixed through the software? I have tried head cleaning several times but it does not help. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem or do I need a new printer?

Linux+lprng by Albert
I would advice you to uninstall all print servers (cups, LPRng, pdq) and re-install the one you want. They may conflict between themselves. I have spent days fighting with my Mandrake 9.1 on that. Now it works perfectly. If you still have problems, go back to pdq temporarily. It is very robust. But...

Just picked up a Canon S820D demo at decent price, but I think I got a lemon. Been testing it and all the prints have a green tint to them and the skin tones have a pasty plastic look.
