I am not a laptop user, and I have been asked to replace a hard drive that
appears to be failing (failed confidence tests in the Dell Hardware
Diagnostics--SMART reports possible impending disk failure). And the drive

Has anyone out there used really big and fast solid state storage. I'm
working on a project where we'd like to be able to store at 65 MBps and
retrieve at about 80 MBps simultaneously for about 10 minutes. We'd
like to use Linux and plan on using Fiber Channel. Anyone have any
insights in this...

America and Europe. Now I'm trying to find possible solutions
on how to fix this problem. One idea I think I've heard of is

disks/raids. It describes one usage model of video/audio file case.
However what I don't get - isn't it the same creating 2 different FS

My system is a datawarehouse on linux itanium 64 , emc raid10 , fibre
channel .
(oracle rac)
When i monitor the system , by using iostat , vmstat , etc. , most of
the time the read bytes / sec value changes between 10MB and 100MB.
Is this the maximum that i can get from emc? Can the system...
