Formatted Capacity of SATA vs. FC by
MObiker
I was looking at the formatted capacity of one vendor's disks, and
noticed that the SATA gives up a lot more space for the "formatted
capacity". For example: 300GB FC = 288GB formatted, 320GB SATA =
274GB formatted.
Do SATA disks normally give up more space for formatted capacity? If
so,...

ADIC Scalar 100 DLT to SDLT/LTO by
Kirill Ponazdyr
Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to convert a DLT based Adic scalar
100 tape library to SDLT or LTO?
At least with SDLT the magazines should be the same since tapes have
same form factor, so theoreticaly it could be possible to reflash
firmware + replace drive module...?
Kind Regards

Hi,
We have a Snap Server 2200, and would like to generate a list for the

Hi
I need to find information about a selection of network attached
storage devices which are rack-mountable and affordable.
So far I've found QNAS
(http://www.pixelution.co.uk/systems/system_qnas.htm).
Does anyone know of any other NAS devices which are in the price range
£1000 - £5000.

I am finding that reading the raw data off an SD in my embedded, that

card (ie. my 64 MB has the boot sector at 4E00, and my 128 MB at C600).
Everything else before this is read as 0's.
I am not using any of the...
