Dilbert by
John Blundell
I thought this might be relevant to this newsgroup. :-)
http://www.comics.com/comics/dilbert/archive/dilbert-20040104.html
Obviously it does not apply to the vendors who post to this group on a
regular basis, who do provide a better standard of service. But
relevant for some of the bigger...

scan.co.uk good e-tailer? by
tHatDudeUK
Considering getting something from there and wouldn't want any hassle
sending it back. I'd get what I want elsewhere but scan have it in stock and
i need it now sort of thing. Also they have it a few quid cheaper.
Any thoughts?

WTD: Powerpoint/Access by
Hawkeye-Pcs
I know these can be bought seperately, but consider them to be overpriced if
bought this way. A customer only requires these two programs so doesn't want
to go to the expense of buying the 'full works'. Any ideas?
Even an Office '97 oem, or newer if offered cheap enough, would...

HP Deskjet 5550 or similar? by
Martin Nike
I need to buy 3 colour inkjets for up to £70 each.
I've just bought a HP 5550 for £50 but I need 2 more. Is it worth
buying 2 more of these or is there anything else worth looking at? The
5550 seems like a pretty good deal for the price, not too flimsy and a
parallel port too.
I have a...

I'm looking for a little bit of info, maybe someone here's had to do this

I've got a dead 60 gig Deskstar (aka deathstar) which has now died.
Anyone returned one to the Netherlands recently, and what's the cheapest way
of doing so?

Hi,
I need a Highpoint Rocket 133 disk controller in a hurry.
So far the only place I can find that has them is Scan, and even if they
have them in stock, the earliest I can get it is Saturday, by driving

Where do I stand - faulty screen from Novatech by
Shimon Cohen
Hello
I hope you all had a good Xmas - I didn't
We bought a Dell 1800FP screen from Novatech towards the end of
November. It worked for about ten days days before the DVI input
failed. Contacted Novatech and was told to call Dell, who offer a
next day swap out.
"Good!" I thought
