Audigy Volume by
Who Knows
Hi I was wondering if any one can clear up my problem.
I have an audigy which on my old system (Tbird900, Via KT166 chipset)
the volume thru the analogue and digital outputs sounded the same.
But with my new system (XP2700, Gigabyte GA-7N400Pro2 mb, Nforce2
chipset) the sound out of the digital...

Front left speaker by
Gwydion
Hi,
My front left speaker works fine when playing any kind of music, or
even a DVD's but when I try to play a movie in divx format with AC3
codec it's just silent. All other speakers work fine, and I mean in
the AC3 mode where you can really hear a closing door behind you in
the back speaker(s),...

(I've just stumbled onto this group, so please accept my
apologies if I'm asking a typical newbie question, or if this
topic has been addressed at length in other posts.)
I had an Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum card installed a few
months back, and while I'm real happy with the quality of...

Audigy 2 With Live DriveIR? by
Mark \(UK\)
Does anyone know whether or not an Audigy 2 card will function correctly
with
my existing Live Drive IR? I have read an article at
http://alive.singnet.com.sg/audigy/review/audigy-drive.htm which states that
the Audigy 1 works fine with the drive, but does anyone know about Audigy 2?
Cheers

blue screen after installation by
Danielle
Hello. About two weeks ago, I installed the SoundBlaster Live 5.1. I
had had an onboard sound card before that, and pointed all audio
devices to use this new card. Everything worked fine for a bit, then
suddenly I started having problems. The computer froze a couple times,
and blue screened me a...

Audigy 2 driver related crashes by
Philburg2
I just upgraded with the new drivers from Nov. 2003, but I'm still getting
crashes like I did with previous ones. Does anyone have a fix for this
besides going back to my original CD drivers? These newer ones offer better
clarity and performance, but I've had 2 crashes in the past day.

Converting coaxial to 5.1 by
Rich
Hi,
My laptop computer supports 5.1 surround sound (at least the manual says it
does), but does not have separate outputs for each of the speakers. It does,
however, have a digital coaxial output - would this output all of the
individual signals for each of the speakers? If so, is there any device...

Sound Blaster Platinum Software in Win XP? by
John
Hi.
I have Windows XP and I have the Sound Blaster Platinum Card. It
works okay and is detected by XP, however, the software doesn't seem
to be very well.
The Creative Launcher at the top seems very unstable and flickers a
lot. So much so, that it is not usable. You can't click onto it...

Looks like the problem was having the card in the wrong slot.
I'm now getting sound, but the Creative diagnsotic fails. I installed all
components in what looks like the latest version of the driver...
LiveDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe
When I run the diagnostic, it says that the following have...

Win2K Sblive driver problems by
Wally
Hi.
I've been trying to get my SBLive 5.1 Player(?) working under Windows 2000.
First off, I tried using the original CD (the card was bought a couple of
years ago). From the autorun dialog, I installed the drivers and the main SB
apps, and then rebooted. When I tried the SB diagnostics, it said...

Sorry if this seems very simple to the experts out there. I want to get 5.1
sound out of the above card. What speakers will I need? DoI need a
decoder? Which output would I use?
Thanks

Audigy2 & speakers by
Mart
I'm currently using a Creative Audigy but
I'm thinking of upgrading to the Audigy 2.
I only have a two speaker setup so is the
Audigy 2 worth buying? Would there be
any difference in it to the Audigy when
used with just two speakers?
Upon saying that, I may buy the
Inspire 6.1 but I don't have a...

I am recording guitar & vocals using a soundblaster live 5.1 card,
cool edit pro & an audiobuddy preamp on a 466 mhz computer with 256

I record through my Sennheiser mic or feed the output from the
