dead pixels by
andthen
If I order a 20" LCD online, what are the chances of getting one with no
dead pixels/subpixels and no lit pixels/subpixels? I know there are vendors
that will let you return a LCD that you are unsatisfied with for any
reason... but if the chances of getting a perfect one are low, then that
would...

Tim Robbins
I need to use a PCI slot card but do not want to buy a desktop unit.
Is there a commercial adaptor that will allow me to use it externally
with my notebook computer?
Thanks,

using multiple monitors for gaming by
LSMAN
Is there a way to have 3d gaming apps span 3 monitors? I had it
spanning 2 monitors that were connected to a dualhead video card. But
I want the game (or even WinXP) to "Properly span" the desktop. Not
just extend the desktop.
I hope some can help with this.
Thanks in advance.

I've got the x6dae-g2 mobo, trying to install windows XP Pro (original

HDD question by
Ivan
Hi,
Could someone tell me:
1) Where does track O reside on the platter?
2) Do all modern EIDE hard disk drives use zoned bit recording?
3) In particular, does WD Protégé WD200EB (20Gb) employ above technology?
Thanks in advance,
Ivan
