Dynamically overclock 6800GT? by
jimboblaschoomer
I've a WinFast A400 GT (or, in everyday terms, a 6800GT)
that I run overclocked at 405MHz. Is there any way I can have
it dynamically overclocked to that maximum without it constantly
running at that speed?
It has never given me any grief at 405MHz, but I'm trying to
reduce my carbon footprint...

BFG 8800 fan by
Phil_C
Hello All
I have a BFG 8800 GTS OC 640mb video card in the top PCI-e slot. Then
in the next PCI -e slot I have an Adaptec RAID card. The problem is
the close proximity of the two cards is pushing the Adaptec card over
temp. I don't know what temp the video card is running at as I cannot
find out...

Upgrade from geforce 6800 Ultra to geforce 7600 GT superclocked? by
Wolfbane
Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my 6800 Ultra for something newer which draws
less current, doesn't require 2 power connectors and produces a lot less
heat. I have to stick with AGP for the moment which really limits my options
so I was thinking of the Evga e-geforce 7600 GT 512M superclocked card....

Cannot uninstall default Vista driver by
Mick[_2_]
Did a clean reinstall of Vista 32 bit and ran Windows update which installed
a digitally signed driver on my Gainward 7900GT. It gives acceptable
performance in 3D Mark 2006 but not as fast as I have had with drivers
downloaded directly from NVidia. When I tried to install the latest driver...

How to underclock the AMD X2 3800+ processor ? by
Skybuck Flying
Hello,
What is the best way to underclock the AMD X2 3800+ processor so that it
always runs at 1.0 Ghz per core instead of 2.0 Ghz per core.
(I know AMD monitor puts the processor on 1.1 volts to make the frequency
1000 Ghz)
But I am not sure if I have to play around with vcore voltages in the...

Really just a comment but how have people managed with the length of the

I've just replaced a Palit 7900GS with a Leadtek 8800GTS on a Gigabyte
Nforce4 GA-K8NXP-SLI mobo inside a Cooler Master 'Wavemaster' case. I just
had room for the card but had to move one of the SATA cables...

New Theory: Chieftec case airflow design flawed !? by
Skybuck Flying
Hello,
According to intel and amd the airflow inside a case is supposed to go from
the front of the case to the back of the case and out the back of the case.
The airflow is supposed to go past the components.
Also the case could be seen as a "air/wind" tunnel.
The problem with the chieftec...
