Recovery Software by Xavier
Hey guys, I accidentally quick formatted the wrong CDRW and now I wish to recover my data off the disk. I'm sure this has happened to others before, so can anyone recommend good software that would be able to recover most (if not all) my files? Thanks! Xavier

Helping specify a new computer, clone computer vendor offers LiteOn, LG, or ASUS. I don't know the models, just current 16X DL burners without Lightscribe. Of these three brands, is there any preference as far as reliability, compatibility, support esp. firmware/software updates, and quality of...

Sony¹s Double Layer DVD+RW Drive (DRU-700A) by X
What does everyone think of this drive? When is Plextor going to release a drive like this? After all, they are a much better company when it comes to producing high quality burners. -- http://www.sonystyle.com

Fuji 48x (Prodisk) by
Do they work for you? They only go to 16x, with still some errors, on my BenQ 48x drive. The Ty Fuji's have always worked great. Is my drive going to ****e or just a compatibility problem?

Nero chokes when it tries to "verify" a data disk by
I am using Nero 5.5.whatever with a LiteOn SOHR-5238S on a WinXP Pro machine. When I burn a data CD after the burn Nero ejects the disk, reloads and quite often puts up a dialog box that sez the media is blank or has been removed. Sometimes I can eject and reload and it works fine but sometimes it...

How's Nero 6 compared to 5.5 by
I have been using Nero 5.5 for a while and am comfortable with it. My latest burner came with 6.3.1.4. Any reason to upgrade? What piqued my interest were the additional features, i.e. backup, wave editor, etc. It does look a little bloated but that's not always a bad thing. I have been using...
