Older version of Everest (v1.10.106) providing the values here, didn't even
recognize the Prescott.
Great overclocking using only a Vantec HS & Fan.
Very stable as long as I keep the fins clean!!

Hey guys.
Ok, so this is my first attempt at a overclock of my CPU,
currently i have a Intel cor i7 930 comes in at 2.9... my bios (asus
sabertooth x58 mobo) has a feature for overclocking the processor up to
3.2 as a auto clock... heres what i want to achieve... the current auto
clock only clocks...

BTW, ram does not do as much as you think it does in the gaming aspect
of things. From what i have read, going from 1000mhz** to 1600mhz** will
give you only a few fps increases. For gaming its more about your video
card and processor.

I have an ASUS P5K-SE with a:
Kentsfield Q6600 2.66 GHz OC'd to 3.01 GHz.
Very stable but I think my video card might be limiting my frame rates and
overall performance when gaming.
I'd like to get a little more fluidity with my graphics.
Will upgrading to a 9800 GT smoothen things out or am I...
