+12 voltage is 4.8 by Mike
I am running a thunder k7 w/ 2 athlon 1200's, and hmonitor reports my +12 voltage as 4.74-4.8, which seems ridiculously low. Is this a power issue? My computer will freeze sometimes. I thought it was overheating, but now I'm not sure. Anybody know whats wrong? I bought this system from Xi Computers...

+3.3 V Line is at +2.9 V Is This Normal by Peter Harrington
For diagnosing PSU problems, I noticed that most people look at the +5 V line. MBM 5 reports a 2.9 V for the 3.3 V line on my system at idle. Under load it does not change much. Is this normal? I seem to recall other posts who had specs with this line undervolted. EP 8RDA+ PSU Generic 500...

.13 microns...... huh?!? by Opticreep
I apologize in advance for such a newbie-ish question, but... I'm trying to figure out if my ECS K7VTA3 (v3.1a) motherboard could support an Athlon XP 2400 processor. So I went to the ECS website. In the CPU chart, it said that the motherboard could support up to 2100+ at "133MHz", or 2400+ at...

I rebuilt a system on a new FIC AU-13 motherboard, reusing my older Athalon 1.33 CPU. I purchased this OEM chip 3 years ago along with an AMD - recommended Coolermaster heat-sink & fan. When I did the rebuild, I lapped the large aluminum heat-sink to a fine finish, using 2000-grit sandpaper...
