Canon Catrige 41 & 40 question Canon Pixma MP160 ink out by Joe's Newsgroup
I manually refilled these 2 carts and they work fine, but the printer monitor still indicates ink is out. Is there a chip inside the carts that need to be reset? Can I reset them through the printer software? Thanks in advance

IBM Intelliprint 40 (Model 4332-004) Error by Eric Fisk
We have and IBM Intelliprint 40 (Model 4332-004) that is sporadically stopping and printing an error page with the message "Unexpected error: FE1191D4". It then has to be power cycled to recover from the error. Anyone know what this could be?

Photo printing by Retired
I have a Canon Selphy 720 photo printer. I love the photo quality prints it makes. And I'm sure there's lots of other photo printers that are probably even better. But what I want to print is full letter-sized (8-1/2 X 11) photos on the same type of paper with the same "permanent" type results....

HP Officejet J5750 prints double size by Don Butler
I've been using the J5750 for several years and never had the problem until yesterday. On some documents, but not all, it is now printing the image at 200% size. I've done everything I know how to do to get it back to normal, but it's still acting up I'm using a Gateway DX442XP Windows XP...

Canon Pixma won't power on by carrie789
Please help, can't afford a new printer. Canon Pixma MX700 about 2 years old. Started printing only every other line. Replaced cartridges. 4 nozzle cleanings did nothing. I was taking each cartridge out and putting it back (as someone suggested) when it powered down. No lights, no response at all....

How to get printer IP address via command line? by JJ
Hello: Another question for you printer experts out there! ;-) We have several networked printers on the system and I'm trying to find a way to get their IP addresses via a command (DOS) line command. Like Ping for example. I was told that should work and it does if I ping the actual IP...

Windows XP restarts after installing Canon's drivers by Steve
I recently downloaded the drivers from Canon's website for the Pixma MP130 after migrating to Windows XP. After doing so when turning on my computer, it restarts 3-4 times before I can use it. I have no problems printing. A popup window appears saying one of my drivers is causing the problem. ...

Poor B&W printing with Canon iP4300 by Brian Rumary[_2_]
I have a Canon iP4300 ink-jet, which seems to be incapable of printing mono (B&W) photo images correctly. What should come out as mono has a strong red cast to it. Also the strength of this red cast seems to vary between printing sessions - sometimes the cast is quite mild, other times the...

hp990 replacement won't respond by John Polasek
I bought a second HP 990 because I thought the first one was defective. Now I find it will not respond if I just swap the cables from my first printer. It looks like I will have to use the HP disk to install it separately, possibly as a second printer, just to see if it works. I recall having some...

iP4200 as a network printer by who where
We have an iP4200 which is connected to our home network via a Linksys PSUS4 print server. This creates a couple of issues. While a Win98SE machine can connect to it reliably, the only way we could get an XP-Pro machine to see it was to set it up as a LOCAL printer and then give it a network...
