Motherboard help at all? Please? by [email protected]
I have a Packard Bell Maui motherboard (PB880). I wonder if someone could describe or explain the pinouts for the front panel connector. I'm going to rebuild this working board into a system (for tinkering and development). Also, is there a front-panel USB port involved anywhere?

Older Pentium class parts available by Ben Myers
Anybody need matched sets of 4x32MB EDO 72-pin SIMMs or 233MHz Pentium MMX CPUs? Found some in a corner today, in CPU boards long overdue for the recycler. If interested let me know. Won't charge a lot, 'cause this is 2008. But cover my costs and a little bit for my time... Ben Myers

HI Gang ! You have to appreciate people like this. I used to laugh, until I saw people actually buying similar items for ridiculous money. Going to be hard to beat the $3100 for an old Packard Bell 486 computer that went last year, but this great deal below is another head...

Hi Gang ! I am pretty sure I have asked this question before, but I'm looking for a definitive answer. I have been searching for years now for a Packard Bell computer. I *thought* I remember Packard Bell, around 1994, 1995, or 1996 making 486 or Pentium 60/66Mhz computers with the "Art Deco"...

The story of my Packard Bell by philo
Though I'm an old timer who took a few Fortran IV classes back in the days of punch cards. I hated those punch cards so much that I swore I'd never touch a computer again. Though I did briefly own a TI-99 back in 1982 or so...I eventually grew afraid of computers. Not only did I hate them. I hated...

Y2K and the Accel 386SX-16 by William R. Walsh
Hello all... I've got a Packard Bell Accel 386SX-16. It is in good working order apart from a dead hard drive. Even the onboard NiCad clock battery took a charge. But that's the problem. Try as I might, the system BIOS will simply not accept a date past 2000. You can enter one, but it won't be...
