Proper Matrox card for running PS6 on two monitors? by Douglas Tourtelot
Sent here by a friend. I am looking to run my Photoshop 6 on two monitors. I hate that the pallets and menus cover parts of the photo I am working on due to lack of space on my 17" monitor. So two monitors seems like, maybe, a good idea. Problem is, I have no idea how to acheive this end. Would...

At what point is it overkill for the particular game I'm using? by Doc
I asked earlier about suggestions for cards. I'll ask a different question along the same lines, for the particular game I'm using - Novalogic's F-16/F-22/MiG 29 games, which I believe are several years old, is there a particular point at which I'm not gaining anything? I'm not a tech, and not...

Has anyone gotten multiple PCI video cards (actually, I can't even get one to work) to work with an Intel Motherboard? My situation: Installing a Matrox G450 PCI into a PC with an Intel 865GBF motherboard makes the processor-to-pci-to-csa bridge inop (exclamation point in WinXP Pro's device...

Annoying Frame Drop Capture Problem by David Baxter
Hi group, I'm having a problem with capturing video onto a PC. I've built a system for the sole purpose of capturing video from my Sky+ box. (Composite video input.) Thing is, it drops frames at a stupid rate, rendering any captured video useless. The system was originally an Athlon-850, and I...
