Dave
Hello,
I have a tube of Antec "Reference" Silver Thermal Compound. It is not
on AMD list of acceptable thermal compounds. The specs. look very
similar to Arctic Silver. Could this compound be used with 2500+?\
Thanks,
Dave

Choosing a new MB for upgrading XP 2100+ system by
yuki
I am currently running Tbred 2100 on Asus A7V133 with FSB 100 MHz x 20.
Planning to upgrade to a nForce2 400 based MB with two 512MB PC3200 sticks.
Since I don't need SATA, firewire or G-bit nic, I am thinking I just get the
least expensive parts from New egg.
Anyone running the following MB &...

AMD newsgroup for motherboards/cpu by

I believe you can ask your question right here. You perform video editing so
is this a hobby or do concentrate of heavy professional work like for a
business? If your budget has no limits then the FX-51 is what you need as

Acceptable Temps by
jus lookin'
What is the acceptable range for temp for a non over clocked XP1800+ CPU?
Mine says CPU temp is 109 and system temp is 93.
I am running a cheap Asus A7V8X-X with 512 meg of 2700 ram.
What is the best way to over clock this successfully? Should I bother?
