I have a problem with this drive, in Windows 2000 I cannot read any DVD+RW disk, but I can read DVD+R fine. Does anybody know if it's supposed to be like this from hardware or will a software driver update fix it? THANKS!!!

My protection software always includes Back Web Lite among its list of problematic spyware but does note that Compaq systems included it purposefully. My questions: Why did Compaq include it? Is it necessary or helpful? What happens if I delete the "offending" files?
