Wookie
Hi,
I was wondering what people thought about the Audigy Value and Audigy 2S
sound cards.
Is the 2S much better than the Calue card or they about the same and the 2S
has a few more bells ans whistles.
It's a game machine and I also listen to music. I am not a HUGE audio nut
but I appreciate my...

Looks like a winner for overclocking quietly with a 120mm fan at low revs.

ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe + Athlon64 3000+ Overclocking Woes! by
David Rasmussen
In short: HT/FSB will not go above 225 MHz :(
Even if I underclock my memory using a divider and underclock the CPU
using a low multiplier, I can't get HT above 225 MHz without the system
freezing!
Since I am underclocking both memory and CPU, I guess none of these
could be at fault. Or what? I...

FX55 San Diego Heatsink by
jlab13
I just ordered a FX55 San Diego for a system I'm about to build. I don't
plan on OC'ing it anytime soon as I have know idea how to safely OC.
This is something I will look to learn slowly in the future. Am I
screwing myself by using the included heatsink and fan right now? Will
they do the trick?...

To RAID or not to RAID? by
[email protected]
Yes it sounds like a newbie question, anyway...
Which is beter for performance, a single hard drive of say, 160 GB or
two 80 gig drives in a RAID 0 config? Going to get a SATA II hard
drive (want to test the nF4 hack) and I see a 160 gig drive is about
$20 cheaper than two 80G drives. Assuming a...

My old Athlon on an Asus A7V8X: Is this possible? by
René
Hi to everybody!
I have a computer with an Athlon 1300 in it on an Asus A7V-motherboard. I
would like to expand the memory a bit, but DDR-RAM is much cheaper than
SD-RAM which is needed on this board. I am considering buying a new mobo
with DDR-RAM, this will give me USB2 as well and a good ATA100...
