UK to US compatiblity by
REMUS
I know it may sound stupid but, will US hardware work on UK stuff. So say if
I imported an amd socket 939 processor and mobo and plugged them into a UK
power supply. Would they fry? I assume not because they both work on 12v
right?

Bummer. No BIOS setting for manually selecting the 6:2:1 dividers.
You
could try the pinmod to fool your board into thinking it has a 200MHz
FSB

I held out this long for PCI express, is it really worth it in comparison to
AGP or just junk?

At 200MHz these values rise to 40/80.

Lowering the core voltage on an Athlon XP2200+ by
Glennbo
Hi,
I am looking to under-volt my XP2200+ (133fsb) to reduce the temp, so that I
can slow the CPU fan down further, reducing noise in the process. Any
suggestions as to how low I can expect to go before things start going
tits-up?

computers for so many years. I love it. I don't need to select the
hard drive settings. It's fast and smooth.
To test just how fast it is I downloaded Seti and...
